This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Dine & Digs (“us, “we,” “our” or similar pronouns) operates the https://dineanddigs.com website and collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of dineanddigs.com (“Site”). This privacy policy applies only to the Site and all services offered by Dine & Digs (including, without limitation, both mobile and online versions of our web sites, and also applies to your use of all features, applications, content, downloads and other services that we make available through these web sites and/or that post a link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, referred to herein as the “Site”), regardless of how you use the Site, whether via personal computers, mobile devices or otherwise.

If you do not agree to this privacy policy, or to any changes we subsequently make to this privacy policy,  you must immediately stop using the Site or otherwise providing any information to us.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We may collect personal identification from Users in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities services, features, or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, website, and social media profiles. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities. Information collected may be stored on our computer hardware or the hardware of our third party service providers.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact Form

 If you contact us by email or using our contact form, we will store the information you provide us with (your name and email address) to respond to your query. We will erase the data we collected on this basis when it is no longer required.

Newsletter Subscription

By submitting your email address to us, you opt-in to receiving email from us. You may opt-out of receiving further email by contacting us via email or following the directions in any email or elsewhere on this site. If you wish to opt-out at any point from our emails, please unsubscribe on the email communication. The only required information for sending the newsletter is your email address. Entering additional, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we will save your email address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. 


You can revoke your consent to the transmission of the newsletter at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter email or by sending a message to the contact details.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Dine & Digs uses Google Analytics (with anonymization function). Google Analytics is a web analytics service. Our website also uses Google Analytics performance reports relating to demographics and interests and reports on Google Display Network impressions. Pinterest

On our website we use the service of Pinterest, Inc. 808 Brannan St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Through the embedded “Pin it” button on the page, Pinterest receives the information that you have accessed the respective page of our internet services. If you are logged in to Pinterest, they can match your visit on our page to your Pinterest account and merge the data. Pinterest saves the transmitted data when you click the “Pin it” button.  Dine & Digs is based in the United States, with our servers in the United States. By using the Site or by providing us with your information, you consent to the collection ,transfer, storage and processing of information to and within the United States. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. Performance; No Guarantee

While we take all reasonable measures to comply with this policy, we cannot ensure that your information will be 100% secure due to hackers, acts of God, etc. We will exercise reasonable efforts to maintain compliance with the terms of this privacy policy. This is not a contractual agreement to provide any level of security for your data as breaches of personal information may occur on any system in spite of best practices and best efforts.
